Hi guys can anyone please help me to locate the part number or perhaps a possible solution to a problem my ML is 430 1999 and it currently has 120,000 miles the check engine light came out few days ago tried gas cap nothing works it must be something else. Took it to mechanic specilizes in BMW AND MERCEDES. THey Told me its some kinda Evaux or Emax sensor can anyone explain that to me and he also said its only one sensor in this car so its obvious he wasn't reffering to the Air Mass Sensor. If anyone can help it would be highly appreciated.
Take the Dash out and unplug the bulb, mine has 140,000 miles 99 ML 320 all has been fine, I am sure if connected the check engine light would ALWAYS be on for whatever reason. Look forward to reaching my goal of 200K and turning over to my then to be 16 year old for his first car!! Let him wonder why???
