machine gun door locks

cannot find this old thread, can someone help me , my back door lock, driver sounds like a machine gun, what do i need to replace this, the motor or the locking system??

lt is a door lock actuator...."Very" common on the ML, l already, have replaced two of them...l'm assuming the other two will go eventually....[:(]
