DVD NAV Done!

Finally! [;)]

Benza (aka "DVD NAV Retrofit Guru") thanks for the excellent publication! Also, thank you RoadSession for the help with the antenna.

Note the dash-mounted Alpine antenna - barely noticable ...

BTW, RoadSession, it took all of 2 seconds to acquire a satellite!

This shot is at a developement called "The Point". Any idea why?

And also, a big Thank You to the Usual Suspects (Scorchie, Wolfgang, et al) and all of my BenzWorld pals!

I drove around for, like 3 hours yesterday playing with this thing! Address searches, POI, etc.

Its So Cool!!!!

Congratulations! Although I wish you were not finished already.

If you have nothing to ask, the board is going to be really dead now!

congratulations!!!!!!!!!!!!!

I share your elation!
This is fantastic news.
This and the xenons are unquestionably the best (albeit most pricey) mods one can do on a ML!

For true navigational testing...how long will it take to reach Joisey as your destination?

Call the local stores in your area and tell them that you have an Alpine NVE-N852A and you need the replacement microstrip/planar antenna because your old one is busted.
I contacted Pacific Coast Parts @ 1-800-421-5080. They shipped their Stock Number A-01T85385W04, described as "GPS ANT. NVEN852A". Cost was $25.85 plus shipping.

Is that near Ft. Washington, PA?

Looks like I might be there Saturday!
