I have done research on top of reaearch and then I got pissed off and said, you know what this isn't worth it, i gave MB over $40k to drive a defective vehicle that proved to be unsafe for me and my family.
another important fact is that who in the hell would want to buy my ML after looking at the repair orders...think about it, i would have lost so much money with this ML it wouldn't be funny.
what a relief to be out of that ML! simply cannot tell you how good it feels.
being that I have had NO problems when I owned Chevrolet and I have a 1 year old and more on the way in the future plus I love reliablity in a car, click on the link below to see my next baby. I have already signed the dotted line.
2004 Malibu MAXX LT
http://www.chevrolet.com/malibu/
Just look at the options: Epsilon platform, DVD player for rear passengers, 6 disc built IN-DASH cd player, 1st in its class to have electric steering & remote vehicle starter system, sunroof and rear skylight for rear passengers, XM satellite radio, Multi-Flex 60/40 split-folding, sliding/reclining rear seat, heated seats, front and side air bags and much more. I love it when I seen it. It takes a bit to get used to cuz it's so new, but looks better and better each time
Interesting facts!
1. Repair orders in 1 year owning a MB ML350: 14
2. Repair orders in 5 years owning 6 Chevrolet cars, trucks and suv's COMBINED: 7

The history tells it all, what can I say.
I am happy for you and your malibu.
Have fun.
Bye

I must say I'm honestly surprised that from all the ML owners here on the forum only a select few admit that they have problems with their ML especially after reading my posts the past year with my problems.
Oh well. Farewell to you all and to Mercedes-Benz, thanks for giving me my well-deserved money back. Look forward to getting zero busines from me in the future.

=)
are you joking? we all admit we have problems. BUT because no one said they have a serious issue like youve had doesnt mean we're in denial. it just means we havent had an issue like yours. for the most part, we suffer from fairly minor annoyances that can be repaired. even the best automakers in the world make an occasional big error...like yours.
enjoy your chevy, im sure itll be as good quality, luxury, and craftsmanship as a mercedes benz.
I'm sorry to see you go. I am very happy that you were able to get most of your money. I can understand you wanting the Chevy because of the reliability issue, but a Malibu?
Personally I would have gone for a Tahoe or Suburban, something bigger. I don't want to get hit in a small car with my wife and three kids, 15, 11-1/2 and 8.
Good luck to you. [:)]

i could say something, but i'll withdraw since i don't know you.
Did you not express relief and joy letting go of your ML350 in your "FAREWELL ML350 INSPIRATION EDITION" thread"???? I was expressing the same thing for you because I know the hell you've been through with your ML350 from all the "...problem(s) with my ML350" threads you started. Thus, I was acknowledging your departed ML350 with a "buh-BYE!" ...not a personal attack on you. I know better than that. It was good to see you get rid of it (I would have done the same thing if I had problems you experienced FWIW).
So, wtf do you mean by your post quoted above anyway?
