Farewell....benzworld.org

By the end of the month, my M-benz ML320 99 will traded in for an INFINITI fx35....reason is that its just been really hard for me going to the dealer every month to fix some problem and getting poor service. Its really hard for me to let go of my ML, but its just time, i guess its not meant to be... this forum is great and i will reallly miss reading ppls topics and polls. i wanna give special thanks to DREW (light guru), MANDU(FUnnie Funnie GUy), MPHOCKEY(BOOMbox expert)kekeke, s4(photo manipulation expert), ratso, BEnza, ANdy(Love your ML esp. with does AMG rims). hmmm who else i forgot to mention??? oh jimb, TCP_ml500, CHUCK V, garyroseu, jdower and bora20. YOu all have been great members farewell, and KEEP BENZWORLD.org alive....who knows maybe in a few years i might be back again with the NEW ML w164???[:)]

RE: Farewell....Boy-6

I too suffer your trials and tribulations with an older model ML. The love of the forum has been a factor in me not ridding myself of my ML for the finicky little issues driving me back tot eh dealership on a monthly basis as well.

If not for looaming debt on the truck, she would be gone. I nearly bought an FX45 last month. Good choice. I think the 35 may actually be the better choice for a smoother ride and more practical commuting vehicle. The styling grows on me and the smooth lines are truly original. Good luck with it.

You will be missed. Check in and drop us a post from time to time.

RE: Farewell....benzworld.org

Good luck with the new ride, I hear it's a great SUV [:D]
It's hard to give up a Benz even if you have problems with it. I suspect you will come back again with a W164 in a few years [:D]

It's been real!
Later!

Boy-6 you are always family....

Boy-6
Hopefully you will stay on board like I did. I had similar problems with my 99 ML430, and it made for a sour relationship with me and my truck. I have owned tons of MB's, and never had an experience like this. I had sooooooooooo many trips to the dealer, that I had to let her go. Once she hit 50k, I realized that I would soon be putting lots of money in a fairly new vehicle[:(]
The board is great, and all listers are wonderful, which is why I still log on several times a week. The listers could use your input----SO DONT GO[:D]

Good Luck with the new truck[8D]

All the reviews I've read about it are positive. The only thing for me is the looks. Like many Japanese designs, I think it will look very dated in a few years. Of course, unlike your ML, it will still be running in a few years, so its one of those "good news - bad news" things.

Although I was stunned [:0] to be omitted from your "short list", I wish you well. Do drop back by with pics of your new ride!

RE: Farewell....benzworld.org

i'll still see you on Friendster....good luck with the FX35, I'm also looking into that. I've traded the silver ML so I'm down to the black one. I may consider that one too.

In any case, have fun with the new whip, there are a lot of body kits for that FX35!
