Hello,

Does anyone know what year Benz began putting the "Brake Light Bulb Out" indicator on the ML? I am sure my '99 does not have it. Not sure about the '02. Trying to avoid putting the Load Equalizer on the LED brake light bulbs.

Thanks,

They all may have it, but it's not a light (at least not in 2002 and I doubt they would have added it afterwards). Using a low-current bulb in the brake light turns off the ability to use cruise control. Drew claims that his ML doesn't need a load equalizer with the bulb from FMM - but it's pricey.

BTW - it was only the third brake light that gave Berger problems. No one has had issues with the taillights - just the turn signals.
