Smile Pics of our 03 ML500

Pictures never posted. These were taken shortly after we bought it in December 06 or January 07. The color is tough to capture (and keep clean) but I love it. Traded the Volvo XC90 in on this when we ordered the E. Funny thing is I almost bought an ML new when I bought the XC, but didn't want to buy the old body style. This was my first color choice (in and out). Didn't need the V8 but it had the nav and all the other goodies. Just wish it had parktronic. Still love it but it now has some road rash on the hood and the rear bumper. Rock bounced off the hood and made two quarter sized dents. The rear bumper was the result of some &*$% that didn't bother to leave a note. As much as I tell myself it's only a car and it's 6 years old now, ...

Nice! What kind of strap did you use and how did you hook it up to your hitch?

I used a regular towrope (nylon-reinforced?)-for passenger-cars max. 3000lbs (nothing else was available since we didn't plan on going "off-roading") and hooked up the loop of the rope to my trailer hitch (drawn-tite) using the pin...
