Bad Days for ML
Today on turnpike a rock hit my windshield
i have a small crack hopefully it does not spread
i hate such things
did anyone fix the winshield crack by those products
is it worth it

here in CALI windshield damage is a part of insurance claim FREE of charge as long as the damage is not inyour line of vision and it depend on how bad is the damage. Mine was just a small dot by the top tint shade. My insurance send a repair man right on my garage.[:)]

here in NJ and NY you have to have seperate coverage which runs about $500 a year thats what my insurance told me just for glass coverage

Here in Shrewsbury we have the Diamond auto glass van in our lot at least once a week to replace a windshield for someone - they do a good job for a decent price.
If you don't care about the looks of the windshield and want to save some money, you can try to patch it (they sell DIY stuff, but I'd probably take it to a glass repair shop). There will probably be a distortion but I'd guess that it would help prevent spreading. I've got a bunch of scratches and pits, but not enough for me to actually replace the thing.
