Just took mine off and I was wondering how many others here have done the same. Also, what do you people think about them being off in general. Like? Dislike?
It's interesting that MB considered even the rails to be a design element when engineering the ML, deciding on form over function by making them asymetric (it makes casual use of roof racks impossible), while also deciding on function over form by opting for a more aerodynamic roofline, making parallel rails impossible. I have a set of racks so I need the rails. [8D]

Looks great MC. Right now I've got a wide unbroken strip of long black tape going down the roof till saturday when i go to home depot get something for them. Still don't know what i'm buying there but i hope to get some ideas from you guys. what about you? what did you do to cover them up?
i got some rubber wall strips and it only comes by the foot and also 4 inches wide so i got 15 feet of the strip, for extra, and cut it into 7.5 then cut 2 edges off the rounded edge side...

but the wind noise with the moonroof open was driving me nuts. Now, with the Lamella deflector I don't have that problem anymore.
