no blinking ligths when locking doors.....
on my ML320 1998, the panic button works, horn sounds when panic activates ok and the doors lock and unlock OK also, but the alarm does not activate or ligths do not blink when locking or unlocking the doors...

The lights don't flash when one of the doors or the hood is not properly closed. If everything is OK, it may be a sensor.

My rear hatch doesn't lock and the lights blink only once and for about 4 seconds. All other doors lock and the alarm is activated. Isn't this supposed to be a rear latch lock actuator problem?
