Just for Kicks, I did get the Yakima King Cobra bike carrier for my ML. It (they, all three of
them) look really cool on the yakima rack. I test drove with one only, no bike, on my 42 mile highway commute to work and the mileage was practically the same - 20 to 21 mpg. The carrier alone didn't seem to make much difference in mileage. Infact, with the carrier on, the bars were noticeably quieter. I'll have to get my bike up there to truely gage the effect on mileage though. As soon as I can get a new battery into my digicam, I'll post some pics.
