RE: Weapon R Dragon Intakes
As mentioned before, they're really just for looks. As far as the sound is concerned, it won't change the exhaust much but as someone mentioned you may be able to hear a difference in the driver's seat (even my blower sounds normal from the outside, but I can hear it rev up on startup and howl nicely under "spirited" acceleration). You'll also want to watch out because a new intake will void a lot of your engine warranty.
If the above doesn't dissuade you I think some people have tried WeaponR stuff and other than mixing rice and kraut they physically fit in an ML.

Holy god that thing is hideous.. I was thinking it would be cool to hook up an ML55 dual air box set-up on a 430.. A nice simple K&N open ended set-up would look sweet and sound better..

Sorry, ML55 only has one airbox as far as I can tell... I'm surprised I don't see that in more mods lists (ML320 with ML55 intake upgrade).

All Show no Go.
Weapon R is not even preferred by Honda boys.
The minute you put on this crappy foam filter. Thats when you see your oil turns dirty very very fast. Also Cone filter doesn't make your car go any faster because your N/A engine can only "suck" air to a limit. Since this cone filter is placed behind the radiator then your intake will only breathe in HOT air. The ML stock intake has two inlets of COLD air and thats plenty engine. If you like to float air better. Just use the good ole' K&N drop-ins, they will not mess up your MAF sensor unless you over oiled it. Our M112 engine has the long intake runners which bascially render your "CAI" useless ... unless you drive at 4000 rpm all day long.
Save that money and buy yourself some Dynamat Door kit and you might bet more utility from it.
just my 2 cents

RE: Weapon R Dragon Intakes
Read about it here
http://knfilters.com/filtercharger.htm
Part number: 33-2703
You can probably order these in lots of places online
I've got mine from http://www.performanceintl.com/
I have been running on K&N filter since 1998 and I've never had any problems with it

RE: Weapon R Dragon Intakes
im not a fan of the drop in filters cause the airbox is still in the same spot... custom fabrication allows for bending of the new housing, and the cone to be set at a optimal angle for cool air.
