alpine doesn't make anything bigger then 7 that is if you want a flip down, on a plus side they probably the only ones who has swivel one.
audiovox, emerson are good. the thing is most of the companies like pyle, ikon etc. use their (audiovox, emerson) screens anyway, so basicaly it's pretty much up to you, what kind of options you want(tv tuner, infrared, build-in dvd, lights, etc). i would say go with emerson 10.4 not to big not to small. but i wouldn't get 14 or bigger picture looks a bit distortedand out of sharpness even at highest possible level.
i like this guys they always delivered on time and good prices too.

I have the visualogic monitors, They are 7" and look excellent. They even came built in the headrest. I think this is the best for all ML owners. You can take a look at my pics. You can get them from crutchfield.com, or cars.*.com

Here ya go I need to take updated pictures but this is what I have in my 2002 ML320 Sport. Two 7" Ikon visor mounts up front, and 15" Rosen flip down monitor in the back with two head phones and a play station mounted under the back seat, the DVD player is mounted in the glove box[:D]I also have a similar setup in the 2000 ML430 [:D]
This is what i've come up with so far. The local Best Buy can install everything for me and warranty any installation issues for 4 years at any local Best Buy, so I think I will get them to install them system.
I was thinking 2 7' Monitors in the headrest. To make sure no mistakes are made, I was thinking buying customized headrests with mointors already built in. Now I've gone to Best Buy to look at the quality of the monitors. My conclusion is the Alpine moinitors in my Van are defintely the best quality out of the bunch, but they cost me a fortune, almost $600 a piece. My parents won't let me take apart the system already in my van so I have to buy a new system. Plus, the Alpine units are too small, only 6.5' versus the bigger size 7' ones. So when at Best Buy I noticed Sony's quality was the best compared to Audiovox and Epik. Second best was Epik and lastly was Audiovox. Epik comes in a package deal, DVD player and customized headrests. After doing some research online, a company called "Myron & Davis Custom Monitors" keeps on coming up.
It seems that a lot of people have Rosen DVD players so I think that's a good way to go. Does anybody else have a recommendation? Maybe a DVD player that will fit in the glove comparment?
