Repairing rear window washer thingy

Does anyone have an expensive water gun like I do?? The rear window washer deflector (plastic) on my 98 ML320 broke off. When I use the rear washer, it shoots a nice 10-foot stream of water/fluid to the car behind me. =)

Does anyone know how to remove the rear window wiper assembly so that I can replace this damaged part?

RE: Repairing rear window washer thingy

I've had the same problem with my ML for some time now. I thought about filling the res. with piss or oil or something, but too bad it shares the tank with the fron wiper. [:(]

Ha Ha Ha ..... Actually ......

That's a pretty good idea ....

It's pretty useless over about 15mph anyway, and I have been know to use it on BMW's when they tailgate me (and I don't even drive that slow) .... this will keep the back from getting wet when I use it ....

GREAT IDEA!!!!![:D][:D]

RE: Repairing rear window washer thingy

I was surprised to find it broken one day. I found after I noticed I was spraying my rear window washer fluid to the car behind me while waiting for the light to turn green. Luckily, the person behind me was my wife in our other car. If it were someone else, I would have gotten an ear full.

Surprisingly, it wasn't an intentional mod, but a useful one.
