Ok, I have written to German Star 3 times and no reply. Does ANYONE know what brands the German star front pads and rotors are? They are VERY inexpensive compared to OEM.

Anyone have experience with their brake parts to date? Held up as expected?

the rotor should be brembo and the pads are either pagid, mintex, textar which ML430 used, only the backing plate has 3 pointed star stamp on it. I've used ATE (rotor) pads(mintex) on mine.[:)]

I ordered about1.5 months ago. They are mintex pads, easy to install, but no brake paste. Mine squeel a very minimal amount. I will get some permatex brake quiet for the back of the pads and fix. I am very happy with them and the dust is almost non-existant!
