Ashtray (Cigarett) Lighter does Not work anymore?

Is it fuse? My car was produced in 05/1999, I believe.
I search the archive, there was a thread discussing recall for lighter. Where is the fuse box located?

fuse box is in the engine compartment

The E-box is located in the driver's side engine compartment in front of the bulkhead. The top side of the E-box houses fuses and relays.

The fuse for cigarette lighter is F10 10A. But if your vanity mirror light is working then that fuse is not blown.

Very likely to be the fuse. Had it happen to me and the dealer said it was a common problem when people use it for a cell phone charger. They recommended using the 12v source below the glove box.

Since when a has a cell phone charger been able to lift a 10 ampere fuse ??

More likely the circuit is under fused (like the infamous F44) and the cigarette lighter in rush current blows it.

Incidentally discovered my lighter outlet was US when I tried to plug my cell phone charger in.
