After the many detailed findings about the quality issues with the ML's[:(] Why doesn't Mercedes step to the plate and acknowlege///repair the darn trucks on recall. Of course we will always be able to find text that says they will try to improve the customer concerns in the future, but they would have more satisfied customers if they repaired the vehicles many problems before the customers started complaining. The majority of us experience the exact same problems with our truck, so more than likely all other ML customers have the same problems. Mercedes really started biting the bullet on accepting responsibility back in the early 90's. I have a S500 that had a bad evaporator, but so did thousands of other W140 owners. They used the evaporator from a later model W126 in the early W140's. This was a several thousand dollar repair that MB just ignored. Look at what the inside looks like to replace an evaporator of a W140. The entire car was built around it. MB never fessed up to this repair either. This makes some of the ML repairs seem minor[:0] I guess that makes me a second gerneration complainer, and this is also what makes me so cautious when MB repairs start happening.
This is why my first Mercedes will be my last Mercedes. [;)] Ahhhhhhhhhhhhhh the Mercedes Experience, Unlike Any Other. Since its paid for I hope I can get another ten years out of it though. [:D]

Man:
They have lost their minds with that being the leader garbage. There is never an excuse for a poorly built vehicle that squeak-rattles and has broken parts. They act like they are designing the first vehicle on the road in 1998. They have a poor selection of parts suppliers and say that is because they are on the cutting edge of technology[:0]
I never understood that one from MB. There is no question that they have tons of patents for safety, but geez can a guy get an operable window switch in 20 degree weather, or a car that does not soundlike a Pinto whilst going over bumps.[V]
