Hey all! Just got a 2004 ML500 and loving it so far! Only problem is that stupid "rollover warning" sticker on the driver's sun visor. I got the airbag warning stickers off, but when I try to peel the rollover sticker off, the backing is staying stuck to the fabric. Is there any way to get that off? I'm afraid to keep peeling the sticker the rest of the way off if it's going to leave the backing residue on the fabric. Any ideas?
I was hoping they would just peel right off, but no such luck! They're ugly as sin, and really detract from the appearance of the interior, so I want them GONE! I wonder if the old hairdryer trick would work on them? Anyone tried it?
I would try a hairdryer or some other thing that makes a lot of heat. It might help to unstick the glue, though I don't know what it might do to the fabric? I assume nothing since they should be fire retardant and be able to withstand hot in-car temps on a summer day.

I don't remember the name but 3M is making a good product for this kind of problem.
