play in gas pedal
i just noticed that i have about half an inch paly(each way) in the gas pedal...left to right that is... the dealer is trying to tell me that it isd normal...anyone else?

Same here... Since the ML is 'drive-by-wire', the gas pedal isn't exactly 'over-engineered' [:p] (ie: it's completely made from plastic).
I wouldn't worry too much, provided the play doesn't get worse...

I think it's actually designed to have the play.
I've noticed that it's a lot more difficult for my foot to slip off it than with a tighter pedal. I've taken it as a design choice just like the amount of distance you have to push the brake pedal in before the brakes really kick in.

mine wobbles like crazy too. gonna try to get a replacement before the warrwanty runs out... anybody think its possible to fit an e or c class pedal?

You could always get one of those big chrome foot shaped pedals with the toes. [:D]
