Now is the time to ask you guys....

especially the people from "New Jersey" who could recommend to me the best VIDEO installer(headrest). I live in Somerville. I can travel to as much as 40 miles from my place as long as "guaranteed" professional installer. Thank you in advance.

Hey...

I actually bought headrests from Best Buy... i know it sounds dumb, but theres a company called Epik who make headrest monitors with OEM headrests, picked up a pair from Best Buy this weekend for $1599.99. It comes with two headrest monitors, dvd player, and 2 wireless headphones. There is a good installer who did installations in Livingston, but the best place you can go for cutstom installation but is a little pricey is Sound-Waves in Parsippany. They do the best custom work, but I didnt want them to cut into my headrests and it looking kinda crappy, so i got the pre-made ones, which look awesome!

I snagged this pic from the gallery, its the same headrest monitor company that I bought from Best Buy, reason I got it is because of its flush look vs. having all that nasty plastic around the monitors, plus they are 7" and look damn sexy too!

I`ve been there already last year. I asked for a quote and it seems very reasonable but the only I dont like is the kind headrest monitors(looks cheap). At that time they dont have any brand/choices(forgot the one they present). Anyway, If there`s no other recommendation I might go back again and check. Thank you very much,Vik.

RE: Now is the time to ask you guys....

Well I have the SAVV units in my ML and they are excellent. They are 7 inches with a built-in IR for some headrest. They have factory replacement headrest in leather for approx. $150 a pair. Plus they come with a security cover that covers the entire headrest whenever you park so that everything is hidden. I think any decent installer will charge you over $100 per headrest plus you have a cable/wire coming down into the seat. With the SAVV units the cable is hidden in a hollow post that goes into the seat. It's totally stealth looking. If you want some pictures let me know and I'll upload some.
