What MY did the reverse = passenger side mirror tilt begin?
Tried setting my mirror to the passenger side today and when reversing it did not tilt down. Thanks in advance.

Beginning model year 2002, whenever you put your truck in Reverse gear, the passenger side mirrors tilt down. Then, the side mirror automatically reverts back to its last saved position.

Beginning model year 2002, whenever you put your truck in Reverse gear, the passenger side mirrors tilt down. Then, the side mirror automatically reverts back to its last saved position.
...and if the passenger side mirror is selected, as if you were going to change its position.
Right otherwise it acts like regular mirror and doesn't move. The key is you have to have the conveniece package with the memory seats. It uses the memory module in the seats to remember the position of the mirrors.
Also one other thing I forgot to mention. When you set the mirror you have the right mirror selected, the engine running and the gear shift in revers. Then you set the position that you want the mirror to go to.
