UPDATE! ML still at the dealer for hesitation problem fix, working with lemon law attorneys!
I dropped off my ML on Monday this week. Haven't heard anything back from the dealer as of yet. That means they are still trying to duplicate the problem or they are waiting for a MB rep to visit them to help find out how they can fix the problem.
I drove past the dealer yesterday. My ML was in the parking lot outside dirty as can be and all alone.....=(
I am also working with lemon law attorneys who are reviewing my case and repair orders. They e-mailed me back a statement I find very cool. Can anyone tell me is this actually true? I pasted it below.
"This is a free consultation for us to review your documents to determine if you have a valid Wisconsin Lemon Law Claim. And if we can sign you up as a client, you won’t be charged any attorney’s fees whether you win or lose your case. Our attorney’s fees are covered by Mercedes Benz if we win the case under a fee shifting provision, which means we have to be very selective in the cases that we do take on. In other words, we can only take cases we feel we can win, which is why we need to see documentation before we sign up clients."

A lot of attorneys will take cases on a contingency basis. The fee shifting may be a provision written into the WI law to prevent attorneys from taking frivalous cases.
