Weird, but true. I guess they had nothing better to do than to try this :-) Must have been a lot of work though. Interesting - but not too surprising :) 
 
When I had a XJS years ago, Jaguar Magazine featured a XJS pickup from somewhere in NZ. 
 
Some fascination with making one-of-a-kind, I suppose?

that's what the Unimog is, heh heh. Luxury pickup trucks do not exist in Europe, where they're considered work vehicles.
