The owner of the Benz shop I take my car is selling a '97 S500 sedan with 30,xxx miles. I'm not interested in purchasing it, but my parents are. <p>I drove it for part of the day and absolutely loved it!! Took it out on all kinds of roads -- Can't find many faults, except that it has some very small scratches on the hard to care for black paint. <p>Anyhow, my folks are now retired and searching for a larger car. Looking or have looked at the Lexus 430, Caddy STS, MB E series (new) and BMW 740IL. I'm trying to convince them to go for the S500. <p>Any good stories or advice about this model?
