Shifter knob

Has anybody out there tried replacing the shifter knob
on a 94 S420? This is my current project and would appreciate
any input. TIA

Re: Shifter knob

Depends on what you're replacing it with. Aftermarket
pieces are usually screwed in on the side. If you're replacing it
with factory knobs, I don't think you'll have any problems
Fred.
: Has anybody out there tried replacing the shifter knob
on a 94 S420? TIA

I changed mine to a half Zenbrano and leather shift knob. I had to take off my center console to get to the shaft, because mine had never been removed. You can get a up to date shift knob, but you have to get a shaft adapter. I purchased mine from Precision Auto. The site address is precisionauto.com. I hope this helps you out.
