Hi all
I've been meaning to flush a coolant for my 99 S500 as I don't have a service history as to when it might have been flushed last. I have done coolant flush on other vehicles, mostly Japanese brands, but I am wondering if there are any specific dos and don't for our W140 when it comes to coolant flush.
In addition, one question that I have is the following statement from autohausAZ where I get most of the parts for my W140:
Latest version to comply with MBZ Approval 325.0 for all models, replaces previous Q1030002 version. It is recommended that this coolant not be mixed with older coolants of any other color, a full coolant flush with all new material is the only proper way to achieve maximum benefit.

I've never done a "full' coolant flush. What I have done in the past (again mostly Japanese brands) is to drain the radiator and the coolant reservoir and refill with new coolant without air bubbles. In this case, I know that there will be old coolant still in the system and it's not a "full" coolant flush.
Is changing the coolant on a MB special? For those who have not done the "full" coolant flush before, how would I not mix the old and the new coolants? I've read G-AMG's always excellent how-to doc on this but I don't have all the necessary tools to follow what he has done.
Any help would be appreciated.
