I've searched all over the net looking for the heater hose"T" connector in metal and can't find one anywhere.

Does some company still make them or am I gonna have to rely on dumb luck at a pick-n-pull yard?

The plastic "T" is just fine if you replace it with a new one. It isn't the material, but heat and age that cause failure. Same goes for the plastic cam oilers. If you find a metal T, great. If not, replace with a new plastic one and do so again 60-80K down the road.

The car's a '95 500 with 102K on the clock. It's been in Palm Springs,CA all its life (desert conditions) so I was concerned about ambient heat & engine heat weakening the "T."

For my own peace of mind, I'll get a new one anyway.

THANKS!!
