OBDII Engine Monitor and iPhone/iPad

I was curious as to if any of the forum members have purchased and are using one of the OBDII engine monitoring dongles and related software with their iPhone or iPod.

I am really interested in buying one of these, but I have questions as to how much data I'll really get from them, since MB didn't run all of their data through OBDII.

There are a couple of different brands on Amazon and other places, but the reviews are somewhat spotty. There is one that seems to be popular with the Android OS, but I'm looking specifically for an iPhone/iPad interface.

Thanks,

Dan

Got my ELM327 OBDII dongle today and just did a quick test in the garage with it and the Dash Command iPad/iPod app on my R129 (1997 SL500).

Kewl.

I'm going to go out for a drive after dinner tonight with the iPad running to see what it's like with the car on the street.

For a total expenditure of about $35 for everything, Im very pleased.
