HELP WHAT IS THIS ????

First of all this is an 1997 S600

There this thing under the Mercedes badge and its bone dry empty ! What is this and what do i put in it ? Please I'm worried !

Get the owner manual out and see what is supposed to be there. Looks like its got a dip stick does it say anything?

there isnt anything in the manual about it and i've tried google but nothing and the stick just has temperatures 25 and 50 degrees i believe

I was thinking power steering too but wasn't sure. It should be making a hell of a noise lol

Well my first guess was power steering but I remember the canister with the screw on top was power steering so I go a bit confused. But yeah, that post gives the info you need.

okay thank you very much and also under the right plastic panel in the engine compartment whats the hydraulic fluid for ? and it also looks empty

You need to clean your engine bay.. it looks as if it's never been cleaned once!


If its not an older Mercedes-Benz product than it wasn't worth building.
