I thought 483HP was low for a M120 AMG but they didn't make S320 coupes.. I emailed the guy asking to see the engine about an hour ago and interior
These days you cant go by AMG stickers at the rear anymore ,even the little A class owners stick AMG ( A M
lory ) onto there cars lol , not even by the engine sticker, you can buy the AMG metal engine sticker or plaque on ebay ,a more complicated thing to a transformation wich many dont even think of doing because it involves taking the delicate cluster out and taking it appart in a way ,ask the guy to send you his AMG cluster picture of the Speedo instead like the one you see below .
He even lies unless he dosnt know (as an amg car owner
)about the top speed ,lol. There is nothing i can see that indicates that it is a genuine AMG exept the sticker he has there & the owner's description ,the rear trunk badges are to high as well by the look of it ,we forgive him for that since it has been resprayed & debadged then rebadged probably, but in the wrong places ,lol .
Just a Link for Coupe Lovers ,might as well add this here .
1995 MERCEDES BENZ S500 REVIEW & MSRP - TheBigLot.com
Some more info for AMG S600 here :
The flagship model of the W140 lineup, the S600 (600SEL until 1993) LWB saloon set new standards of performance, the likes of which had never been achieved with such a heavy robust car up to that time. The 6.0 V12 engine was capable of accelerating the 2 tonne, 18 foot saloon to 100 km/h in as little as 5.5 seconds and with a top speed of 179 mph
with the limiter removed. Mid to high range acceleration is immense and closely matches the first generation S63 AMG model in this regard. Even today the S600 is still popularly used as an alternative performance option to the newer, more expensive AMG models. There were available, a limited number
of the SEL600
model with an AMG
aftermarket powerpack upgrade, increasing the power output
to approximately 445PS
with 623NM of torque thanks to slightly more aggressive camshafts, pistons and connecting rods and a computerised remap of the original ECU
