Post SE 300 ,ENGINE WASHED BY WATER !!!!!!!!

hello every one, i am having a little problem with my MERCEDES BENZ SE 300 , YEAR 93 . I bought it used in good condition.

MERCEDES BENZ
i took it to the car wash and wash it all with water , i opened the hood and wash the engine also with water. the car starts i drove to home and sudenlly it stoped. DID THIS HAPPENED TO ANY ONE OF YOU!! ,
PLEASE reply to my issue, i am totaly confused !!

welcome and pls update your location

there is a good chance the water got into your ignition coil and is messing it up.

engine is fine, i hope

Well ,
the car now is parked and i don't know what to do !! do i leave it to dry then it will start again, if so how long to let it dry,

did this happened to you !! is it a serious problem !!

Your not supposed to wash your engine like that, next time don't.

Check the inside of the distributor cap for wetness. Even though it started after you washed it, sometimes the heat combined with water will cause moisture to get under the cap and will cause the engine to die.

It was so eassy.

hi again ,
i took the car to MERCEDES BENZ Prof, he changed the spark plugs, then some coils cleanings ,
it starts again.

clean with GAZ is ok
