As I said Alex..Good luck. I've been in the car game for a very, very long time and experience tells me that the worth of any car is exactly the amount someone is willing to pay for it.

Now you are on my side, dear Jayare, because that's exactly my point: A good or fair transaction is just between Buyer and Seller, and nobody else. Take it easy, and thanks for your wishes...
If I was in the market for a reliable, well maintained coupe, with those $16k worth of receipts I would certainly look at yours.
Good luck with your sale.
It is not inconceivable to me that if it is as good as you say it could be worth 10k to someone who really appreciates these cars and knows, perhaps by experience, what it costs to get them right...

Well R.O. the 16K worth is not just of repair or improvement receipts, what I actually meant was since I bought the car (price & shipment from California to Miami included). The car was actually in pretty good condition, always garaged and pampered, with plenty of paper work and the original Window sticker form the first dealer included. Nevertheless, I do have replaced a lot of breathing or not hoses, fluids refreshment, engine and trans mounts replacement, fuel and other filters, fan clutch and serpentine belt, spark plugs and spark plug wires set replacement, oil sensors, and so on, and on. Thanks for your wishes...
Good Luck with you're hopes and endevors Alex. My comments were not intended to offened you in any way or smother your dreams. My intent was to hopfully cast a little realistic thought toward both your dream acquisition and the sale of your current car.
Again, good luck with both
Jayare
There is plenty of examples like these asking prices out there (see the link bellow): Are they wrong?... Just the buyers will have the last word.
A key issue that will help with your sale Alex is to point out if the upper/lower wiring harnesses have been replaced as well as the electronic throttle actuator. You might also point out if the stock wheels come with the car.

Oh, I must have misunderstood then. No worries. That may make it a bit harder to get your asking price as it is not unusual at all to spend $16k on repairing these babies, if they are to be absolutely right.
Stryker's cars are a great example of that.
Jayare has a ton of experience and is clearly pointing you in the right direction. His advice about wiring harnesses and so forth is very good.
With regards to the V12 you cite, I was offered one this year, also with low miles - all records. Advertised selling price was just under 20k. However, the actual selling price discussions began at almost half that...
Personally, IMHO, the only way to get over 10k for a V8 or say over 10-12k for a V12 is to have a detailed PPI from a W140 specialist which says the car needs nothing, and records & invoices to back it up of how the car got there.
So you might get more money for it if you do the PPI and the report says - it is rock solid. May only cost you $150 and may get you an extra couple of $k. The risk is, you may hear things you don't want to hear...

Yes Jayare, everything is not only included in the package, but also well documented (see only one example of it into the attachment). I have even the Original window sticker from the first and only dealer this car ever knew. AMG wheels, and/or stock 16" chrome wheels with virtually brand new tires also included depending just on the final selling price.

Good luck with your sale!
Well R.O., I was actually restricting me to talk about what I have spent by myself, but the former owner went far beyond that by himself on maintenance invoices, and I have all the documentation to pass it to the next potential owner.
