Hi Guys!
Looking for advice regarding my armrest with an integrated slot for the phone.
Been looking on ebay trying to find a replacement armrest that will fit or the original phone.
Cant seem to find the correct ones.....
Do you have any suggestions on how to make this good or any sources to get any of these parts?
I did buy a center console from Mercedes Gebrauchteile Center (MB owned) as my console had ugly mounting holes from a phone. It was in prime condition, cheap (75 Euros) and shipping to France was only 8 Euros. it came with an armrest in excellent condition, but in cloth and even had the earlier wood cover.
I have moved my phone (Motorala 2700) inside the armrest under the cover. I rarely use the phone, only when I forget to take my cell with me. It is hands-free and connected to the Becker Radio
Overall a very tidy installation. If you change the armwrest, be aware that the screws are extremly tight, if you slip once, you need to drill out the screw. Take good notes how the parts belong together, it's an interesting piece of engineering and and requires a good amount of patience if you try this in the car. I had mine out in order to get the wiing moved (for which I had to take a good portion of the interiour out including the driver seat)
