Should I have some kind of other unit hidden in the trunk? Leaning towards buying a handset. Cant find on Ebay though...only Swedish "junkyard"shop(dont know english word) which are expensive. 150-200Euro. How can I verify if I have the necessary parts to have it working?
I use a Parrot product, their model #3100. Parrot makes bluetooth units that immediately updates our phone systems to modern use.
I have multiple cars and they all work perfectly with my one I-Phone. They all sync up to it automatically, they all work through the wiring that already exists in our cars. The system automatically mutes the radio and it even shows 'PHONE' when in use, just like the analog system.
It really mates the best of both the existing wiring/system, including the use of the 2 dashboard speakers that ONLY work for the phone system. Bonus: It frees up the hand set space and head set space for something else, like storage.
Of course, to keep your car in 'original' condition, keep the old analog equipment, so if you ever want to 'show' your car in the year 2025, you can claim it fully original.

Looking at you armrest, You have the same color on the armrest AND the part which holds the phone. If you look at my armrest there are different colors. Is this done original? I havent thought about it before I saw yours. I really am trying to keep/return the car to its original look.
When loooking at my picture again the armrest kind of picks up the colors from the door-sides so it matches....or does it??
Can anyone tell me by looking at my picture at the beginning of the thread and tell me what colorname/code or where I cean get the info of my interior?
