Here is the link of my experience with the speed sensor. (Also a DIY guide of how to remove it from the car.) Just read through it and see that it is not as daunting as it first may seem:
True.. That's because my tyres were different, that is why my cruize control didn't work..
Ever since I swapped out those tyres, I have not really tried my cruize control to see if it works or not..
The bottom line is, if your front right speed sensor is faulty, then it will cause your cruize control to mulfunction also.
If your front left speed sensor was faulty, then your speedo would stop working. (From what I have read)
Cruize control is such a delicate feature, therefore if you want it to work properly, make sure your tyres and speed sensors are ok..
