Spark plugs?

Can I use the same spark plugs that I put into my 1992 500SEL - NGK BKR6E for my 1995 S320?

You actually had the wrong plugs in your 92....they called for

Standard BKR5ES 2460 .032
V-Power BKR5E 7938 .032
G-Power BKR5EGP 7090 .032
Iridium IX BKR5EIX 6341 .032

The 95 calls for the same plug

Standard BKR5ES 2460 .032
V-Power BKR5E 7938 .032
G-Power BKR5EGP 7090 .032
Iridium IX BKR5EIX 6341 .032

Thanks for that. The BKR6E 6962 were recommended on the forum so I went with them, hopefully they will be ok?!

on the s320 (m104) ALWAYS use copper plugs (bosch F8DC4 or equivalent), and also replace the 3 connectors (coil to plug), they cost only $6/piece and should be replaced every time you replace the spark plugs (40k miles). replacing spark plugs on s320 is so easy anyways, takes me about 10 min for whole job and i'm not a mechanic

Those NGK -BKR6E are the Superior Plug to the Bosch , i had the Bosch in mine but ript them out after just a few Days as the Car just didnt Start the Way it does with the NGK Plug ,Exellent for the 5.0Litre Engine anyway ,dont know if they are any good for the 6 Cylinder Engines .
Why is it the Wrong Plug in the Beginning when it goes Better, much much better with NGK than Bosch ?.
Ciao
OK,next Question : Why did i choose NGK over Bosch ? I Originaly had NGK's in the Engine ,as i tought (Naturally) that Bosch was the better choice for the Car ,i installed Bosch Plugs ,for my Surprise ,The Car Hesitated a second or so on Starting the Engine, so out they wend and in another New Set off NGK's <This is why NGK's is Best and also some People told me too that they are a Better Plug ,I do belive it after my Experience .

So the Bosch Fusion Iridium plugs I have in my '93 300SE are not as good as normal copper ones?

exactly...

none the less, anything other than copper top plugs will show signs of early failure in the form of misfire...

so as Tirona said, keep em for now, but replace them with the first sign of misfire...

Thanks for the tip. Actually I was a bit disappointed when I put them in to replace very worn plugs when I bought the car. The new plugs didn't make the difference I expected and the engine is vibrating at idle just a bit, at least sometimes. Seems like I'll be changing plugs again. How are those NGK V power? Better question, what plugs are the best for the 93?
