Angry @ HELP: Can't take the magazine out of the CD changer @

Hi,
The radio works. The tape works. The cd stopped working although the LCD shows CD1 CD2 ...etc when I press the numbers but it doesn't play any of the 10 CDs.
The problem is I can't remove the CD magazine although I keep pressing and holding the EJECT button on the changer in the trunk. The changer makes continuous sound when I press the EJECT but the magazine does not come out.
Can anyone help me please ?
Thank you in advance

disassemble the whole CD shuttle, send it to a electronic service shop.

you may get lucky. I had a similar problem when I bought my 210.

Remove the changer unit. Take the cover off, and see if the cd is stuck in the drive or the magazine trays are stuck.

This was all it took to fix mine.

There is a little motor that drives the eject mechanism, the gear has a habit of falling off. you can side a thin piece of plastic down the side to see if you can trip the catch, if there is a CD stuck you cant do much. I was an electronics tech at one time and replaced the gear once, what a pain). The other fault is that the eject motor keeps on running. I replaced my battery after it kept on running down. I took it out, Becker does not fix it any more. If you dont want to use it you have to re route the cable since the radio is routed thru it.

Unhappy

I wish I had a CD-Changer to take apart and compare to yours considering you're on Staten Island, unfortunately my changer is missing.
