1995 Climate Control Unit part #

I have 1995 S280 RHD with a faulty LCD display on the climate control unit. Though the unit works fine I cant see the number display well and would like to replace the whole unit with a used working one.

My question is how do I know if my car came with or without the charcoal cabin filter system.

I have seen a couple part numbers for the CCU on the russian site and i found it a bit confusing.

Can someone please help me with correct part number for the CCU.

It does not seem that you have the charcoal filter. A sure sign will be
the intake on hood. If you have slats in the the hood in front of the wipers,
you have charcoal. If not, you don`t.

Since you have the "343 air cleaner with fill level indicator for dusty environments (с 01.02.1993)", I guess that the climate and dust in India would have put
too large strain on the charcoal filter, which is supposed to filter out much smaller
exhaust particles.

Now, for you part number;

I do not know which type of CCU you have, but from the notes on the parts,
we see that from the old type, 6;

The next version, part 7, says;

Since your car is A249369, you should look for; 1408302085
Charcoal or not, is a separate button for the cars with that CCU (part 6).
