I will attempt to change out both motor mounts, the
transmission mount and both flex disc on my 1998 CL500.
Since I have access to a motor lift from above, I thought
that by lifting the engine slightly, I will get
a slack at the propeller shaft to easier get to change the
flex discs. Does this sound possible to you?
Can anyone recommend which sequence to change those parts?
The most worrying part of it, would be the flex disc, I think.
Can they just be replaced, or must there be
some balancing done?
