I've got an ignition coil comming it should be here in the next day or so. Anyway I've been told it's on or under the ABS box but can anyone tell me where to find it exactly and what tools I need to replace? Also I'd think I'd need to remove battery for this Job?
NZ Benz, are you talking about ignition coils? They are attached to the spark plugs via a rubber boot so I am not sure what ignition coil you are talking about.

1991-93 W140 300's only have one ignition coil when the engines were updated in 1994 there was a coil for each spark plug, but not on mine.
