i have a big problem with my w140 600SEL 1991, the ASR ligth is ON permanent?
what is the problem, and is it possible to desactive this device ?

You do not say if the car is driving in the Limp Home Mode with the ASR light on.
No, it is not possible to deactivate the ASR mode.
If you are not driving the car in the LHM and the light is on just cover the light with a piece of black scotch tape.
If you are driving in the LHM with the ASR light on, then you have possibly big and expensive problems and repairs.
The ASR problem is sometimes attributed to a bad brake light switch which is tied into the ASR--a simple fix; otherwise in these drive-by-wire cars the cause of the problem can be just about anything.

the car drive in LHM mode

this is a big problem and very expensive, i know.

do you say ; the probably problem is with the wiring engine ?
