Am i supposed to have a power antenna that goes up and down, or a little nub that barely sticks up? I've seen both types on W140's and i cant figure out if my antenna is stock or aftermarket. (it doesn't work anyway, need to replace, but i'm not sure what the heck to replace it with!)
Did they change the type of antenna from 1st to 2nd gen?
Thanks!

It's a '96, I don't have the parking aids... i was just trying to figure out whether or not my antenna should be a little plastic bump, or a power antenna with a mast... after a little research it looks like I have the right kind, and it should be a power antenna with a motor.
The previous owner must have replaced it (probably failed) because it's got an aftermarket antenna motor, and the mast was busted... i'll end up having to buy a new/used OEM antenna motor and new mast and i think i'll be in good shape.
Now, here's a real question: Could i use one of those little plastic nubs like on the Gen1 cars, instead of the power antenna? That could be neat.
