What did it cost you all up for the setup?

roughly $6-700. Mind you I had to tear apart the projectors and do some modding to get them to aim proper..but well worth my time!

i didnt take any pics of the install itself, but its pretty easy. i dont think its possible to mess up. only 3 plugs that you had to plug in, and its pretty self explanatory (male end goes to female end.) i just need to figure out how to get rid of this glare. i dont like the projectors ive seen on ebay. makes my car look pretty "ricer" imo.

I know those projectors on ebay look rice, I splurged and bought a nicer set that are identical to the new benz's..with the right mods they look 100% better.

"rice" looking headlights - interesting

What are the difference between the bad ones on e-bay and the ones you picked up south?

Well Im not saying mine are "special" or anything. But 98% of the projectors I found on ebay look like junk with the dual circle style inside for around $250. Mine were off ebay but they look way different, they are among the other 2% that you can find on there for around $450. I will try and track down some links and edit this post for ya!
And my 22" rims are being put on tomorrow so I will be posting new pic's on this thread asap and I will make sure to show the headlights day and night!!

P.S. GO FLAMES GO.

A Few Bits & Bobs...

...added to personalize to my tastes.

I took my silver 1998 S-500 and resprayed the entire car. Removed all the glass, lights, doors, hood, trunk, body kit and quarter panels and stage 3 painted everything MB gloss shwarz to the tune of $12k. I know, it's more than the value of the car but I do love the W140 dearly.

Lorinzer body kit, Lorinzer auxillary lamps, Xenon lamps, 19" chrome E-Class rims and rubber, replaced all glass, tail and front lamps, sideview mirrors, ceramic painted guards red calipers, S-600 grill, rear windscreen wing, Alpine Navigation system with Sirrius Radio and iPod hookup.

Loads of fun to drive. Had a lovely roadtrip from Los Angeles to Salt Lake City and back, 11 hours each way and it was a dream the entire way. Didn't break a sweat even in the 89 degree Nevada desert. Good fun.
