Do you W140 drivers wave or flash other W140 drivers?
Since I've had mine only 2 weeks or so but I have covered about 1,500 miles in it I have only seen 2 other W140s. One going the other way on the M25 and the other one this morning on my way to work, gave me a flash and waved.
Maybe in America you see more W140's than the UK so they are a more common sight on the roads. Anyway, going back to my original question.
i will nod my head to another passing W140 driver, one nice expierence close to home was waiting to pull out of a Junction and one passed me so i followed him and we pulled onto a duel carraige way side by side and bacically raced eached other up to 130 mph before i needed to turn off (and brake fkin heavily)

haha good story anythinggoes. I always do my best to wave at other w140 drivers because they're pretty rare around me. the one time i got the best response was when i was in traffic on a local road and there was one behind me. i lowered my window and gave him a sort of salute haha and i saw him nod his head from my mirror. I feel like everyone who drives a w140 knows it's a pretty spectacular one-of-a-kind car and when you see another, it's only right that you agknowledge them in some way

That's what I think. Going to wave at every W140 I see know. I can't believe how rare they are. I very much doubt that you'll ever see 3 in a row by accident on a road. Totally the opposite of base spec BMW 318i they are everywhere.
In Montreal there are alot of snobby/pre-occupied people driving these w140s I drive the 600 and always give a wave to any w140 but get back only one wave out of four! Too bad for them.
The rate of acknowledgement probably varies inversely with the scarcity of the vehicles. Here in Houston, I probably see 4 or 5 each way during my commute. Of course, I'm driving a 740iL right now, so they wouldn't pay me much mind
