my ASR is finally fixed!...

knock on wood....
got my engine wiring harness replaced today and switches , not only is the ASR problem all gone, but my car runs way faster and stronger than it ever has(ive only had it about 2 months), it feels great to actually drive it the way it was meant to be driven now, im gettin the performance chip for it this week too....

Good to hear. Before the wire-harness my car would go into limp mode when hitting the kickdown switch. It would turn on ASR and run really slow. After the harness no more of that.

ASR is never really fixed, because it never really breaks. It's just a frail system that detects problems, some of which are quite minor, shuts the car down by going into the limp home mode, and then refuses to tell you why it shut itself down. So you have to guess. It's very much like Freddy Krueger - it will eventually come back to haunt you.
