I went to Lake George for a long weekend, me and my parents, a family getaway. I love Lake George and I go up there once a year in a summer time.
So for those that love to drive, reward yourself by going around the lake, an
80+ mile drive, but with lots of hills and turns, good fresh air and lots of good views of the lake. Also lots of old gift shops, old gas stations and little old time towns. I had Best of Journey CD on for that ride along with Queen and it worked very well for the drive.
3 of us, and 800+ miles, we got 26.7 MPG. Miss my S500, but love this LS400 for all it is.

agreed...you can't rag on the guy for that... i mean going from a W140 to that LS is like going from heroin to Methadone, its kind of the same but less intense...so its not like he went cold turkey from the W140 and then drives a Jeep.
For example w/ your hand cover everything from the passenger side corner signal light on to the right, and everything left from that turn signal i could easily mistake for a modest black W140.

Like I said I do miss the W140, but i dont keep cars longer than 1 year, I get tired of them, and I dont belive in brand loyalty. I enjoy driving, different car is like reading a new book.

Thats just a childish thing to say to someone that used to be an asset to the forum.
I dont think its childish at all, I think if you own a Lexus you should be in a Lexus forum. I think his w140 he had was very nice and enjoyed his post. However he no longer is part our family. If you dont believe in brand loyalty (which I do believe in)then enjoy your Toyota.I hope you have many many great moments in it.I was just posting most people change forums thats all..but Bass to call someone a child seems you have something stuck up your ass,I thnk you should just drive your 420 and respect me for who I am,a Die hard MBer!

Grrr... don't let things escalate from here..... no fighting please...
We've known Tbilisi79 for a while now, and he has always been/ will always be a part of our forum. He is very knowledgeable about the W140, and I still enjoy seeing him visit BenzWorld.
Despite the fact that he has purchased a Lexus, which I do not find any problems with, this does not mean that he should leave our W140 forum, especially since he has extensive knowledge about the W140, as you can see in many of his previous posts.
I welcome Tbilisi79 to stay a part of our forum, and respect his choice to purchase whatever car he wants, especially since our W140's can be brutal to us sometimes with maintenance bills, etc., but other times be some of the greatest cars out on the road.

here here! Tbillisi79 is one of our greatest members when it comes to knowledge of the W140 and opinions about the model. His choice to buy a Lexus, whether you agree or not, does not affect his KNOWLEDGE of the W140, nor does it affect his kindness and professionalism on this forum.
