Hello, here are some pictures of my 96 CL500. I bought it in Germany last summer from a MB dealer - with only one owner before me. it is in totally new condition. KM 40.800. in MILES around 25.000. I only use it in the summertime - then it should be possible to keep it perfect for many years. Hope you like it. And i think W 140 is one of the best car ever made.
sexy... temp here was 77*F after a long winter... i wish i was driving this babytoday!
where did you get the chrome star on your steering wheel? is it designed to be there? if not (aka does not have chatter points) its not safe for that star to be there...
after seeing your pictures... i know for sure that i wanna get the shifter trim and gauges tho...

Damn damn damn its nice. I got the same shifter on my benz and the chrome surround of the gear shift. Im still contemplating in doing the chrome surrounds of the gauges.

Thanks, for your opinion - nice words, allmost like candy. It is not the same sweet passion coming out off my wife and my daughter - when i show them the extra options i have put on the car. Mostly in the long wintertime here in Denmark.
It is an original chrome AMG shifter bought from a MB dealer in Denmark. The car is born with the chrome star. Fitted original on the steering wheel in Germany. The interior is exclusive black leather ( 561 ) and alcantara. The car is born with nearly all option for that year. I also changed the 18 inch wheels too 19 inch original AMG - tire size in front 235 x 35 x 19 rear 305 x 30 x 19 it looks really nice when driving behind the car. I also upgraded the brakes with drilled disc and better pads, with less dust. The car is lowered with eibach. And a few more details.
One more time thanks a lot W 140 is a true classic
awesome coupe, there are not alot of w140 coupes in this forum. i like how the wheels stick out really close to the fenders. looks tight. gotta love the fat tires in the back...
I think I just wet myself. That thing is clean! Question...Are you running spacers? If so what width? What is the offset and width of the wheels?
Man...I wish I had lower miles on my coupe. Im about to turn 120,000 miles. I just put H&R springs and new shims. I'll post pics of mine after I put my rims back on tomorrow. Thanks for the eye candy!
Hi again, here are some Information and pictures - hope you can see the spacers. In front i use 30 mm H&R spacers DRA system. Totally 60 mm in front. Art. - Nr: 60556651. in back it is 20 mm each - totally 40 mm. They have TüV so you can go to inspection with the car - no problem. Size of the wheels in front 8 1/2 inch. Rear 10 inch width. ET cant remember, i think 45 - i check it out later and send the correct ET. I have very carefully rolled the fenders ( warm up the paint first ) it is important if you want that size of tires. No modification to the front fenders. Thats all for now. Have good times everybody. W140 rules
