Meh, mines Singapore, seems fine these cars have been in the country now for about 5-6 years and the current owners will have sorted any major problems. The major thing about cars from singapore is the heat and the humidity plays hell with the electrics.
All I have to say is that I got my car with both a redone AC core and new wiring harness abotu 4500 worth of work. I don't see any reason after this car to not buy anything out of Singapore.
Thing is I have not been told any compelling reason NOT to buy a car from Singapore. One thing I would watch out for is the colour of the car, mines be repainted silver from black, you'd never know even the engine bay's done but I have a few nasty chips on the front and the black shows through a bit, it won't rust but it's annoying.
well lucky o0u that previous owner done all the major work.that s420 is at car yard.and u know how dealers can be cheeky and smartie pants.they will lie and say that everything is done but when you take it home you just find out that the car is completely f**ckd...
ill try to get them to get an AA check first.if they wont do it then theres def. something wrong.
Well gentlemen,I must thank you all for the advice, I got a wiper relay from silverstar farm at $97 and now have wipers again, as suggested, a 20second job.

Thanks again
It's the most worrying problem....When my was doing that I freaked out.
If you replace the Becker be prepared to do a complete rewire. The 92-94 had a two piece radio, control in front with cassette, large din cable to tuner mounted at base of drivers rear wheel, if you have the CD the din is routed thru the CD and back to the tuner. The audio comes from the tuner and goes up to a seven channel Bose amp on top of the rear wheel. The Bose drives 11 speakers, four on the rear deck (2 Ohm) wired in series for bass, one in each rear door in a custom ported enclosure, two in each front door in another custom ported enclosure, and a tweeter mounted behind the rear view mirror. The front to rear was handled by the fader on the console acting on the bose, the right to left is via the control on the radio. The outboard dash speakers were for the CTEL audio. This at least how it was done in the US models. The fender mounted antenna served the CTEL and the tuner in the trunk, thru a splitter
