If your wipers dont work or work intermittantly i can with 99% certainty say that its your wiper relay dead or dying. Its around $100 part and you can find this realy sitting n top of the fuse box (kinda in a back - its long and black and has cables going to it from wiper motor)...you can find one on ebay for about 130 or try silverstar farm in auckland for second hand one.....and its about 2 minutes work to replace.....
and S and E means economy and sport and it purely delays the shifting to save fuel, never version had W and S (summer and winter mode and it was little bit more complicated)
Thanks for that, I'll track down silverstar.

I thought it was quite a deal when I saw it as it looked to be in great condition with such low km's. Also what made me recognise it is that it has no indicators on the front fenders just forward of the door which there usually would be. But really what a great car.
Looking at the stereo does it have the bose package with the centre speaker up near the rear view mirror?

Yes, very good condition. True no indicators on the body, but then the front indicator lenses are clear, which I thought didn't happen till '94 or '95.

It's a Becker, and soon to be replaced, as stereos have moved on in 14 years.

It's quite common for cars that come out of Asia to be updated, mines had the clear corners and updated taillights and grille too, I've even seen them with new side mouldings but I think the early ones look better.
