If the tabs broke you are dead meat, I drilled vey small holes just before the bend of the bracket. I then drilled very fine holes thru the back cover and used very fine screws to hold the back cover to the brackets. Its hard to describe...

I use old solder iron to do little plastic welding and to weld toghether anything broken thats plastic and so far eveything is holding up fine (tail light cover, and some under bonner plastic parts), just and idea if you dont want to drill holes and those plastic tabs broke off ....

Now that is some good No.8 wire stuff! I feel kinda bad using duct tape on the dist cap cover on my engine.

yeh just make sure you do the welding from the inside so you dont ruin the look, normaly i first duck tape the parts together on the side that i wont be welding and then make couple quick welds across the crack and then follow the crack but being careful not to melt the plastic all the way thru but enough to allow it to join together....hope that helps to fix you plastic cover ;-)

Yea it should when I get round to it, I just finished cleaning me engine bay too, that might be something to take pics of with my new camera.
